Rough Cuts
We tried the bathroom scene with more lighting to see if it looked clearer or better, but it lost the whole effect of horror, and suspense, so we decided to shoot it with just one light so the mask face was shadowed and darker.
We then tried the flashing of the mask face to be intercut with the other shots, and because of a small light on you could see alot of objects in the background which werent meant to be part of the mise en scene
The bedroom scene where the girl gets a suspicious unknown phone call, we tried once and when looked back on it the lighting wasn't up to the high standards it should have been, so we had to re shoot to make the quality of the shot better.
We did the shot of the girl at the fridge, thinking she is being watched from inside the house, but it didn't really work because it didnt make sense for her to be watched if the shot wasn't a P.O.V shot of the killer. So we re shot from outside the house in the garden.
We tried a shot of the school but it wasnt framed correctly so didnt look quite right, so we re shot it more central, with more of sophie in the frame.
