Location

For the beginning of the film we are using woods locally, as it is easy to access and in a safe location. It also creates a sense of claustraphobia using the woods as it is typical in horrors to make it seem like the victims are 'trapped' in a sense. Which quickly signifies the genre of the film and the preferred reading
    There could be problems with filming the woods at night as there may not be much access to light so the capturing on film could be poor, so we are finding a way of trying to use light effectively and use different techniques to see which is best.


We will then need to use School as a location, for the later stage 5 years later in the children's lives when they are 18. This will be easily accessible to us and easy to get good footage of it as we are here so often.


For the rest of the trailer it will mostly be based in peoples houses for murder scenes or outdoors in a dark rural location. Which we can mostly base around one house in seperate rooms, and close by to where we live preferably with lighting already there.
